hmmm. seems hdb going full speed on bto projects. Next month is choa chu kang and hougang. Its not often that there are btos in mature estates such as hougang. wonder wheres the locations for these 2 projects.

I don't think it's mature estate based on the pricing of their flats... 

Hougang is located so near to Seng Kang, an unmatured estate, yet it commmands matured estate prices.

its quite easy to identify any potential housing developments especially in mature estates. What I did previously when I was searching for a house was to identify any empty land space in that area, take note of the surroundings, like for example it is more of a residential area than an industrial, and go back check master plan. If yes I take note of it, shortlist it for future reference if I like the area. Even now when I already got a house I still do that, looking at the new BTOs and any sales of balance flats from HDB as well as private property launches.

Anybody know the possible location for Hougang BTO??? =)

My guess would be at Hougang ave 4 as there is a big plot of land...
its quite near to the Bus interchange...
