siron, u put him (or her) in a cage ah? poor thing... must let it roam free mah... if both u and ur wife are working, u can fence up the kitchen, make sure it has enuff space to entertain itself... |

Cyc. Ya got dogs? How ya train them?
Gotta confined them for a week or so ( I only 4 days... Hehe) this is how ya train a pup. Also toilet train him. ;) |

told u liao mah, my pet doggie died 2 yrs ago... I was thinking of getting another one, but both me and my wife are working, so the doggie would be all alone during day time, and I'm still considering...
training is very easy, all self-taught one huh...
1. Train to sit : say "sit" and push its bum down to sitting position, pet its head and say "good boy"... after a while, bring its bum up to standing position again... repeat this sequence a few times... when u think ur doggie is okay for a test, u juz say "sit", if ur doggie sits, reward it with a piece of cheese, if it doesn't, repeat the training sequence again... within one hr, ur poodle shld learn the "sit" command
2. Train to stay : put ur doggie at sitting position, and say "stay", slowly walk away from ur doggie, repeating "stay" as u do so... if ur doggie starts moving away from its sitting position, bring it back to it's original position, and repeat the sequence... stay around 5 metres away from ur doggie, and make sure it stays in its position... when u think ur doggie has learnt the "stay" command, shout out its name, it shld run to u, if it doesn't, too bad... poddle shld learn its name within 5 days...
3. Train to poo in toilet : when ur poddle pee/wee anywhere else in the house, bring it to where the poo/wee is, make it smell it, give its backside some "gentle" whacks and say "bad/naughty boy", then bring the doggie to the place u want it to "do its business", and say "stay"... if it roam out of position, bring it back to its original position again... let it free when u think the punishment is enuff... |

would be easy with the help of a choke chain for the 'SIT' command. pull it upright n push its bum down. for 'STAY' better use a 10ft leash to assist......best is attend the obedience training class, abt 300 or 400 only.

Siron, Teddie is soooo cute!!! I have a dinosaur yorkie.... hehheee... i call him dinosaur cos he is twice the size of a normal yorkie and his ears dun stand.... but we lup him deep deep cos he is sooo sweet natured =) |

He has not taken his 3rd vaccination eh. The petshop told me not advisable to bring him out yet. Hmmmmm But this event looks fun leh!
