During Xmas they employ 2 models, a santa hunk (with sleeveless red vest displaying bulging biceps) and a santarina sex kitten (with a provocative short red skirt) just to walk around and to make heads turn.

lieblings - i am sure those pictures of hunks and santarina are still with you? please do not be inhibited and censored them like those YouTube guy, pretty confident MHT site is more liberal minded.

urgently needs those creatively designed uniform to stimulate my minds and enrich me.

Passion! You crack me up. ROFL. Honestly, if I had the pics, I would have definitely posted it already. Unfortunately I didnt have my iphone with me then.

These are the toilet fittings at the Hard Rock Hotel room. The choice of red high compact marble for the counter surfacr (it has glitters) is much in keeping with the funky rock theme. It is simple but very effective.

Notice even the desks is built like a bar and it is made of the same material as the console in the toilet. The dash of red in the decor makes all the difference.

This is the shower cum bathtub just opposite the wash basin. I am loving the choice of the champagne oblong tiles which gives the bathroom an updated retro look. I think the toiletries has a fragant lavender scent.

Curiously fillted into the first compartment of the closet is this very funky light feature which comprise small round mirrors seemingly bursting like stars. I believe it is found in evee room. Not something you see in a normal hotel room.

Lets move back outside. You have seen the video of the light symphony of the towers at COD. They are very attractive. They beckon and draw you the place like moths to a flame. They also make pretty pictures as the next few shots show. The question is will the Singapore IR be glittery or glitter free? I think the neon is pretty essential to the draw the crowd in. Singapore somehow has an aversion towards neon lights. One wonders why the hell for? For years we simply ban it except ofr certain designated areas like the KTV in Havelock Road. The Bugis area which is designated as a future entertainment area will also see the restriction lifted. If we dont have neon lights, then our IR will be like the Crown in Melbourne. If there is no neon in Sentosa, then the casino there will be like Genting (what a coincidence!).

But here. Look how prolific and picturesque the neon lights are in Macau. These neon lights are the essential ingredient for the ultimate Vegas look. Notice how the lights change colour in the series of pics below of one of the Grand Hyatt Towers (there are 2 towers).

I shall now introduce you the Grand Hyatt. It is quite a classy hotel, more classy than Hard Rock or Venetian and perhaps as classy as the Four Seasons (in which I have not stayed). There are 2 towers which are side by side and perpendicularly juxtaposed and this is one of them.

This is the entrance to the Grand Hyatt during the day. The red cones are its Xmas decorations. The design of the Hyatt is pretty simple and bare. It is quietly elegant in contrast with the maximalist look of the Venetian. It is decidedly zen against the vulgarity of the Grand Lisboa (pics to come later if I can dig them up).

Lieb, still following this colorful and interesting thread. I get some ideas to reno my toilet at P$D (there is no mistake using the symbol :-) and can really feel the heat of those neon lights. Thanks my friend! btw, dont be affected by the deletion of the video clip, is open source but since Youtube has their ruling we just need to comply. Best Regars!

Paolita: Yes, it was very crowded during Xmas. It was a long weekend and so you get a lot of people staying over for the weekend. And they are not just from Hong Kong and China. They fly in from Singapore and INdia as well. I met up with a friend who had flown in with her family and her firend's family. They were celebrating Xmas at the Venetian.

Immediately after the entrance is this display of rock memorabilia. The a lot of guitars! After all it is Rock & Roll. But I didnt know that Michael Jackson also played the guitar meh? For Mariah Carey they had a denim shirt supposedly worn by her, must be during the time when she was much sliimer and less buxom. That girl is now a big girl and she still refuses not to wear a bikini! Sigh. WHat an assault to the eyes of the members of the public. They also include something belonging yp Jacky Cheung to make this Asian relevant. I suppose if they had this in SIngapore they would include Phua Chu Kang's boots!

This is the elevator lobby of the hotel for access to the rooms. They have interesting light fittings at this hotel.

View of the neighnouring Crown Tower from my room. I have never stayed there. So no pictures of Crown Hotel. I am sure it is as classy as the Melbourne Crown Tower, in which I have stayed before.
On the left is the Venetian and on the right is the area near the Macao Airport. If you fly Tiger or Jetstar to Macao. that is where you land.

The Crown swimming pool is oval shaped. It is quite of generous length and so you can do laps. If you stay at Hard Rock you use the pool at the Crown.
Both pools are at the same level.

Its pool is round (cf. the oval pool of Crown and rectangular pool of Hyatt). It is I believe bigger than the Crown pool. The pool scene at Hard Rock is more robust.I suppose it is a more hip crowd that they are expecting. In comparison, at the Venetian the pool scene is a bit dismal. Further given the sheer size of the Venetian, getting to the pool itself is quite a journey. The pools here by the way are mildly heated to a comfortable temperature and so you may swim in winter if you dont mind the gloomy skies.

This pic of the Hard Rock pool was taken on Halloween 2009. They were preparing for the pool side Halloween party to which all the hotel guests were invited.
