we gave up P@D as there is no school for my son and chose NL in Bishan.
Haha good choice. Coz quite a number of good primary school in Bishan like Catholic High and Ai Tong Pri or even Townsville in AMK. There are also neighbourhood Primary School like Kuo Chuan Primary, Guang Yang Primary, etc.

Yes, the school will be operational from Jan 2011. Registeration for P1 will start next year. |

Hi,
We bought a unit at P@D too.
any body transferring your child to primary schools near P@D next year? When I enquire all the nearby schools told no vacancies and waiting list.
What is the procedure to get admission and what if the demand is too high and couldn't get into any nearest schools? IS there any new pri school coming up? can MOE assist the residents in this matter as many no. of families will be locating in P@D soon.

There are no schools within 1 km radius of Pinnacle @ Duxton.
This development is not so ideal in terms of enroling children to schools. |

my wife was looking at SHIJ and radimas. but not sure which phase we are in and when we can start to register.
If they are building one behind the condo, this will be fantastic and most of all NEAR, no need pay school bus. How can we check if it's a school or not and if so, when are we allow to start registering?
BTW, any comment if newly build/created school are good and organised?

Was at P@D few weeks ago and met one lady who lives those HDB opp, she said the school is called Cantoment Primary School ....she was so sured of it....i don't know whether its true or not!! |

you may also consider River valley Primary school. Its within 2km for Blk1A to IC if i am remember correctly.
My son is currently in that school and we find their teachers are very dedicacted. there are also many foreign students in that school. |

totoroll, i think 1D still got chance, you can call the school to find out. 6737 1785
i remembered seeing the map is till part of 1D.
you can also log on to SLA website to check the distance with your blk no.

hi folks just to clear your doubt on the plot of land behind beacons. Its confirm for educational insitute. And i remember reading somewhere its going to be a primary school. So no worry for pinnacians kids. The URA master plan 2008 has reserved that plot of land for your kids.
