Cash payment would be for the fire insurance, S&C charges and to open SP acc, i think(the last part). And in case need to top up flat payment in cash to if cpf amount is insufficient. By cash means nets, cash or Cheque. No credits...

Opened the door for the first time at appx 1.10pm..... Seeing how cosy the place is.... The kitchen isnt too bad too... Plenty of space to do L shaped cabinet on one side, and straight countertop on other. The fridge space is also ample for me. The only thing is at the svc yard, washing machine couldnt be too big, else it'll protude much. All in all, im happy with it. We did check for defects, found several that my guy said they are minor( scratches on window locks, chipped cornermost tile in BS, unlevel tile at the back of kitchen floor which will be covered by cabinets ). The major ones so far got two: hard to press light switch at bedrm 2, chip at the bottom corner of the main door.


Do u guys think those minors are really minor? Still got 6 more days to report to BSC. i dont want to be deem as fussy owner, and im afraid if those minor rectifications are made, more defects will pop up..

Anyway, to share my key collection day: went out way early at about 830am... Traffic was indeed heavy but we managed to reach toa payoh about 910. Went to have breakfast, till about 950... Then proceed to HDB hub.. Went to buy fire insurance at level 2 at about 1010, settled it about 1030. Then we thought of taking queue number first , despite being early. Got number at 1038. Sat down, waiting for 11.10, but eyes still roaming around, looking at displayed number. Somehow, 10mins later, number was called up. Was so surprised... Didnt expect it to be super fast( wanna cut $$$, sure swift ). A matured lady served us... All in all, we settled by 1140, which is quite fast (appx 50mins). Then went to pay for conservancy charges, open SP acc( that took us almost half an hour wait), then proceed to CC after buying something...
After checking for defects, we went to see IDs..... If everything goes smooth, reno will take place soon, and that'll be on my reno page.. Haha...

Thanks, HappyDevil.... For the thought on the minor defects... I think i will do another round today and will send the report... Just hope that the rectification wont rwsult another round of defects...

By the way... Been too busy, yet to submit the defect list... Haiz.... With me working closing shift and my guy doing aftn shift... Seems sat is the best day for us... Seems that's the best day until my mum just told me that we gotta go to an important wedding reception!!!! Argh... Gonna be super rush!

Seewichai... Welcome to MHT, woodlands champions court bto forum.... By 571B, do u mean havent receive HLE letter or blk not ready yet? Met a couple from neighbouring blk(571A); they came over my unit to see2,look2 and take some measurements as they are also buying 4rm flat there. Asked them when will they take keys... Was told probably by July end... So maybe, just maybe the next order for key collection would be something like this: 570A and 570B in June. 571A and 571B in end July, 571C and 572A in Aug. I might be way off, but can see that the June blks are almost ready for its owners...

A little bit update when i went there this evening: saw worker installing grilles at 2nd and 3rd floor of the staircase.. Wonder why is that so...

And not wanting any of u to be caught unaware, seems like the 2nd highest floor of CC has ugly pipes all over it. Along corridors and even in front of units...!!!! Dont believe it? Come down to view it at the open blks and see it for yourself... Wonder who design our BTO.... ridiculous....


stoQ, how unfortunate... Usually they are quite contented with 3 mths payslips And 15 mths cpf contribution statement..

Oh, and beware of the lurking contractors, sellers that would tend to pop out all of a sudden. They lurk mostly under blk 570C.... Most are ok... When i declined them politely they usually walk away... :)

Hi Sygnur, thanks for the welcome. Sorry if I'm not being clear. I'm one of the owners for blk 571B, have not receive any letters from HDB. Went to the website and the status still being mentioned as 3Q.

seewichai, my mistake then...might be misinformed.... 3Q would be july-sept.... i do hope that by july you'll recieve the hle letter... ;) maybe it's only blk 571A... anyone can verify this?
