Had my first taste of the chocolate cake from Awfully Chocolate at my niece's birthday a couple of months ago. I have to say that it is really delicious. It's not too sweet. The cake is made up of layers of chocolate fudge and chocolate sponge cake sandwiched in between. The cake tasted light and moist but rich in chocolate taste. Really liked it.  The shop only sells one type of cake ie chocolate cake. Other than the All Chocolate cake which I tasted, the shop also sells 2 other kinds of chocolate cake (ie Chocolate Banana cake and Chocolate Rum & Cherry Cake). This cake shop also sells chocolate ice-cream which I think I would give it a try the next time I drop by for their cakes :)
I went to their outlet at Sembawang Hills to get a choc cake and it really tasted heavenly. :)

my friend's birthday is coming..
me and other friends are planning to get him a bday cake..
We are having a hard time to decide what cake to buy...
i was thinking of buying an ice cream cake from HaagenDazs but after i see this post and ur sweet comment for Awfully Chocolate, i think i change my mind and gonna go for Awfully Chocolate...
Do you know how much approx. for 1.5kg ?

Their Choc cakes are great. It is light and spongy and the choc fudge simply melted in ur mouth. For approx 1kg, it cost approx more than $50. Not cheap but then most good stuff don't come cheap either :)
PS: Ur friend is so lucky to have friends like you to get him such a nice cake. |

Awfully chocolate rum & cherry cake. Taste should be gd for those who like rum and cherry. Big chuck of cherry can be found between the layers of cake

yah the choc fudge really melts in ur mouth.
One: you should also try the choc cake from Jane's Cake Station too... IMHO i feel it's better than awfully choc

I dun really like awfully chocolate cake. The sponge cake dun taste like cake but more of a huat kuay taste for me. Prefer Pine's Garden Triple Layer Chocolate cake than awfully chocolate. |
