City View's brochure stated Sep 2011. So if TOP is Sep 2010, then it is 1 year ahead.... Fast man,..

peakpeak you are right, it is indeed 1 year ahead, which is super fast

hope our peak will be this fast too, without compromising workmanship that is

btw noticed city view's exterior structure was completed around jan this year. so it takes about 8 months to complete all the interior and all other stuff.

I would rather the process be a longer one, not too fast. What if Hoi Hup did everything in a rush, it simply means there might be lots of defects in the end. As the saying goes, "慢工出稀货".

I'm getting more and more excited on the thought of getting my keys next year, but it means lesser time I have to save more for my reno and furniture! Last but not least, Caldecott MRT station would also be opened in 2011! :D

our top is stated aug 2012. if its one year earlier, we may well get the house next year, aug 2011...sweat...

one question: what exactly are we expected to do/fullfill during top? i mean are we going to collect keys on that day? other than this, what other things are we expecting or are expected to do?

Pinnacle @ Duxton is an excellent example of  a rushed job with endless defects.

Better slow and steady.

peakpeak: I think P@D is slow 'cos of many factors.  Recession, building costs (including materials), different layout for all rooms in each floor and the connecting sky bridges.

Like many others have mentioned, it's like Lego stacking for our normal design flats.

Well, as TOP draws near, you will have to make the payments based on the milestones.  So what you need to do is to prepare for payment.  And yes, TOP means you will get your keys and start moving in (renovation is optional).  But keys collection will most likely be in phases.

DBSS payment system falls in sync with how quickly they build up their bricks, i have doubt they will tone down their building pace. Therefore, just prepare your defect list and be meticulous in your inspection. Defects are bound to have even in condo's and HDB's. On a bright side, at least u guys don't have to endure the long wait like in BTO's. Cheers guys~! ;)

hey thanks lastboltnut :)

found this link  useful:

wish to highlight this out of the long list:
---In order not to jeopardize the issuance of the Certificate of Statutory Completion (CSC) for The Premiere at Tampines, the validity of the various warranties and performance criteria established for the mechanical and electrical installations, all Works carried out should be in accordance with HDB’s renovation guidelines.

what exactly is CSC? think my lawyer has mentioned this before when signing s&p.
