Went with my parents and wife around yesterday, 4pm. We were hoping to go to the top of the car park to see the flats but apparently the 4th Storey entrance was sealed man.

Anyway, like what you guys said, the flats are almost ready man. Can't wait for the selection date man. By the way, is there anyone who's appointment date is on the 22th?

Hi all,
i went to the site again on Sat. A guy who works there told me that they will handover blk 38C end Mar, 38D begining of Apr, follow by 39A, 38B and 38A with 2 weeks' gap for each blk. wonder how long it takes for HDB to inspect & process the key collection...the viewing platform in front of 38A will only be ready in Aug/Sep.

read from the selection letter, thr is this hotline/homelink to check on varies queries including probable completion date. but u need a HDB Security PIN to get access though. think this PIN will only be issued after selection...

http://www.hdb.gov.sg/fi10/fi10320p.nsf/w/ContactUsHomeLink?OpenDocument

hope this helps

If they are handing over the keys to the HDB in Apr 2010, we could be taking over the units only 4th quarter this yr. Guess only :)

Righteous,

What is ur queue number? You must be in the top 20 for 5 rooms. Mine is on 23th but i am giving it up. After some calculation, we think that it is too expensive.

Tsubasa? You are giving up? That's real shame after all this time and you have quite a good number too....(I mean there is less than 50 5-room units).

Still, each to it's own. You feel it's not right then it's not right.

Good luck with the flat-hunting!

I'm in the same group with kikilala, I think. We are in the top ten and we will be going for 4rm unit (guys going for 5rm will not have to kill me...haha)

Honestly, I have the same sentiments with you, tsubasa.

Its a compromise; get a resale where it could be cheaper and bigger but one requires to cough out a large sum of cash (COA), alternatively, be willing to pay more for a 'brand new' flat like RV and not cough out any cash if u have adequate CPF.  Nevertheless, want to wish u all the best for your flat hunting...

Righteous - You worry about guys going for the 5-rm? Have you forgot there will be 600+ 4-rm people who will want to kill you? = )

How do you work out that we are paying more for RV vs. resale?

Oghren - generally a 4room flat in sub-urbs is cheaper than the amount we are going to fork out for the new RV...

Lalaland - inner blocks are not only smaller, it's not facing the river... the main reason why i like RV is coz of the river view.. not sure if i will get it if its not facing the river.. haiz.. blame it that i've got bad number... :(

Tsubasa, I can share with your sentiments..maybe RV is indeed too expensive. My colleague just told me that she also have given up on her selection appointment today for Havelock View in Bukit Merah. Intially i am surprised, because she had a good queue number but the financial considerations finally let her decide to give up.

Haha, looks like I'll have to pacify many people. For me, RV is affordable but it is on the high side for my budget.

From my experience, my friend got a 4rm unit in seng kang this year. It is around 102 sqm (that why he told me) and its valuation is 320k. He paid around 35k for the COV.
