You are so lucky to get Blk 39A, probably unit 806 I think, one of those at the top floors. Although a bit of afternoon sun, but no harm, it is the best. Were you one of those from Sims place affected by SERS?

mine is unit 804 @ one of the top unit. reason i choose 804, i feel that only the bedroom 3 will be affected by the afternoon sun..as for 806, both master n bedroom 2 will have afternoon sun. for my master room, its facing marina area.. so in future can see fireworks. in fact wanted to opt for 5 rooms.. but its over my budget. yes, i'm one those affected by SERS from sims drive

Wow, you have done your homework well. Yes, you are spot on about 804. It is the best facing for blk 39A. Blk 38A 5R facing is the best as far as the sun is concern but the view is not impressive. Mainly it is due to the flats at kallang and those condo at east coast that block the seaview. In my opinion, the best view arc begins from the old stadium (southsoutheast) to City square residence (southwest) and blk39A has it all. Having said all these, I am not those lucky ones whom were affected by SERS but I will try my luck at the ballot, wait for me, #25-804.

hi anqi. #822 is also good..same facing with # 804/806/820. it will be good to get high floor for units 804/806/820 to enjoy the city view as there's some flatted factory just right opp if choose low floor. on the other hand, for block 38b & 38c, it may not be bad to have low floor as there'll be water sports along the side of the kallang river, can enjoy the river view..

chance on buying the access area in future, this i will ask MBT..
so are you from sims drive too?

I think HDB is in a better position to give you a reply.

Mah Bow Tan's reply will come straight from HDB anyway.

You still stand a good chance compared to units in some areas which are 40 times oversubscribed.

I won't even bother applying for such places.
