i only tried the steamboat so far so can only comment on the steamboat. Never tried the set before.

was wondering: tender meat or not also depend on how you cook the meat right? if overcooked, then it won't be tender already... :(

over cooked also still tender.. tat's the amazing part.. i dunno why... i left the meat cooking on the metal plate for a long long time but it's still taste tender and melts in ur mouth...

ok... go try it ... then post ur reviews here but after eating so much kimchi ... would your stomachs still have room for the main buffet (tat's the bbq meat?)

Just had a hearty dinner at Tony Roma's Their potato soup is so good ... cream soup with lumps of potato, topped off with cheese, spring onions and bacon .. stir and drink yum yum :) |

if you go to Awon this weekend.. do take some pics .... hope you'll like their food.. it's very home style kinda food... i like the place.. tat time i went.. it's very quiet... and i enjoyed the food too...

i dun really like seoul garden... there's nothing korean abt it at all... it's akin to those bbq steamboat shops at marina south and beach road area.

all steamboat restaurants at marina area have been relocated... i think seoul garden is cheap cum low quality steamboat.. awon is quality steamboat (you get served by lady boss)...

i would say awon is a pretty authentic Korean Restaurant... The lady boss chatted with us for a while.. her staff served us instead. She's really nice a friendly. I miss their lemon soju

it's the taste ... when u complement it with the bbq meat....actually the lemon soju is just soju poured and mixed with lemon slices... they poured it into a teapot and add the lemon slices.. what a funny way to drink liquor.. out of a teapot.. but the taste is really nice and the liquor is very very strong... 2 shots and i am feel dizzy.. haha
we did not finish the whole pot of soju.. the lady boss poured the remainder back into the bottle so that we can bring it home...

hehe since my family has 5 members, while father, sister being able to drink (once in a while only, they are not drunkards), should not have problem finishing the soju... oh but mummy is scared of extreme sour taste... it is not too sour right?

it's not sour.. have you drank volka lemon before.. similar taste... anyway if you can't finish the liquor u can always ask the lady boss to pack it up for you to bring home
