From the business times on 8 Sep: "The Hundred Trees condo will be decked with Mempat trees, often dubbed the local version of Japan's sakura or cherry blossoms." Will they plant 100 Mempat trees ? :) |

Once a resident suggested to my condo mcst to cut down a couple of trees as many birds were attracted there, and bird droppings always on the parked cars. He was told that the no. of trees in a condo is registered and cannot be cut down. Any truth? So Hundred Trees' plan will show 100 trees? |

There was a newspaper article on this tree-cutting issue sometime ago. As long as the tree is not in a tree conservation area, you can cut the tree. So even if u live in a landed property and happen to be in a tree conservation area, you cannot cut your own tree down.
Haha...a little OT here...but I really dun think that they are going to plant 100 trees

This is the site plan
Lol, Rosy, quite sure there wont have 100 trees inside or outside of this development.. just like One Hill Tree (off Grange Rd) has more than 1 tree in tat estate.

Thanks Joseph & flipper. Can see the Hundred Trees Boulevard on the plan. When the sakura flowers bloom you look up and enjoy. When the flowers fall, you look down at the mess. |

Actually for freehold not so bad lah the price. The price is almost half the cost of 99 yr leasehold in central location. Of course its location, location. location. But dont like the orientation. Very crowded. I wont be sold on the condo just for the cherry blossom like trees. |

bought for around 780psf during the preview, with huge patio that spans across three rooms + living room
actually the orientation not too bad, after visiting the show flat feel the land is definately sufficient for < 400 units, just that the huge pool occupies most of the space
unit wise, the layout is spacious even for smaller 2brm
