Hi! I'm new here - chanced upon this forum whilst looking for relevant news on clementi gateway. I've got a number as well, will be selecting the 4 room flat on 12/9. lala9722 what was the situation like when you went? mostly taken up already? |

yes i realised that on the hdb website as well. practically all the 4 rooms in 208A have already been booked, even though it's pricier and will get a bit of the sun.
I wonder why? |

From another forum, i quote The main draw is the block is facing south and high floor units might have sea view. 117 is more popular than 119 because of no afternoon sun. Whereas 208B is likely to face another high rise development in future thus no view even if u take high floo
so that's why #117 is so popular! the next highest unit is 13th floor already heh. |

does that mean that 208A is crowded is because it is facing south, thus there is a high chance that high floor units will have sea view? or 208B has sea view as well. in that case, which would you choose since 208B might face another high rise development and 208A has been booked by a number of people. |

as i understand it the analysis is that block 208 B has a possibility of facing the new high rise development since the land is already slated for that, whilst for 208A if you've got a high floor you'll probably have good visibility of a few hundred metres.
within 208A, unit 117 is more popular because it is shielded from the afternoon sun. For m i'd still chose 208A, but thats because i like where the door faces. heh, |

208A 's 117 and 119 and 208B's 125 and 127 high floor can see the sea view ....
so far 208B's 127 is still 0, 4rm only 3 taken , 3rm has 7 booked.
for 208A much people taken.

Haha actually i'm looking at the hdb website to get an update daily. But thinking back,even if someone takes what i want also can't help it what. heh.
lala, 'high rise development ' basically means that. But under the masterplan, apparently, they didnt specify plot ratio, which is crucial in knowing how high the building will be. That's why people choose not to take the risk and take 208A instead. |

your selection is on 12sep , by that time 208A 4rm high floor no more, u should not take 14th and below, otherswise u will see 206 face to face...prepare to take 208B's 123..
maybe beside 208B build a CC there lor... |

actually that's exactly the unit i'm looking for! heh. that is, unit #123. I like the number.Only downside i can think of now is that there might be tall buildings there in future.. But then we're living in Singapore and its so dense. |

don't worry too much...u take higer floor lor..at least 30th...i dont think so they will build tall building...our twin blocks are the gateway of clementi... |
