What is the difference between tanglin halt 10 story and 16 story?

living in circuit road. Its also cal aljunied 10story , because last time the all flats here 10story .

You r half right....
circuit rd is the only other place in sngapore that is call 10 story.
the reason is also have right.

if i not wrong ciruit road is not the only 10storey , remember last time give taxi uncle scold : chup lao chup lao which chup lao.

i think the MRT track divides the two. The side where sheng siong is at commonwealth mrt station is the 10 storey. The other side, is 16 storey.

khooth7 u r right on the spot.
Last time the flat at the seng siong side was built to the highest at 10 story... and on the new town sec (the track & field side) it was built to the highest of 16 floor.
Way before the new flats was up which currently stand at 40 floors with the KoFu and seng siong, the highest hdb flat u will see is chup lao.
most taxi driver will know tanglin halt chup lao and chup luck lao. as for circuit rd is call aljiuned chup lao.
U will alos notice 2 similar feature of tanglin halt and circuit rd - the one way loop and bus service 61.....

The Tanglin Halt estate, which most of the Chinese recognize as Chap Lau, which is translated from Hokkien into Ten Storeys, appears to be one of the oldest housing estates in Singapore.
