Siron, not sure for motorbikes. Is ur mum under occupant? if yes, no problem then. If this is allow for season parking, I mean car, I am very sure that residents will willingly sell thier season parking to relatives who work nearby at a good price....y not? |

BSC's chaps came and fixed the rest of my defects today. Very impressed with their work. Fast and good. They cleaned and dismantled my shower unit to put in the brand new soap dish, then fixed it up again. For the paint stains on my windows, they will change my window panes - they've ordered the glass and should be able to fix it up in 2-3 wks time when the stocks come in.

I was talking to the chap and he said he and his group of contractor friends can do any job (outside of defects), like varnishing, changing door locks, electrical works, plumbing etc. He told me sand + vanish of the 3 bedrooms is $200 (i suspect u can bargain down if just varnish and no sanding down). I did not use him as my contractor already did for me at a high price of $700+ (now regret too late), hence I don't know about the quality of the varnishing work, but should be ok if u r to check after the job is done to make sure everything looks ok before paying. I got him to get the electrician to come down to fix my 2 lights and oven - paid only $12 in total. Other things like changing door locks etc will cost a fraction of what you pay your contractor/locksmith,. I dun have the exact quotes from him as becos when I ask how much, he said u pay me what u r happy to pay me ... so I got more jobs lined up for him liao :). If anyone interested in this lobang, pm me and I'll give u his contact. Must put a disclaimer here though : Pls note I'm not getting anything out of this, neither do I know what charges is fair or whether the quality is ok with u. So far, I'm satisfied with the workmanship and price of him and his band of merry contractor men ... :)

breniya, Sorry to hear about poor little flopsy undergoing such a trauma. I must say you r a great pet owner to so patiently and lovingly nurse him back to health. Luckily u never put him down ... poor thing! Did u sue the shop? That's why I groom cinnamon myself as I don't trust these pet grooming shops. Even for vet, I brought him all the way to ang mo kio as the vet there is experience with rabbits. Have heard horror stories of rabbits dying with less experienced vets. Wow, so many pets under 1 roof ... heheheh ... I can almost hear GG drooling over the idea of visiting and playing with all of them :) No worries about cinnamon, I can leave him with my mum or eldest sis (but not my 2nd sis as she keeps talking about rabbit stew ) Just that I tot neighbours are nearer and more convenient. Maybe I put him in a wicker basket outside cjy666's house ...

The Bangladesh supervisor told me there are 2 types of varnish. One is matt & the other is shinning. All the P@D bedrooms floor are using matt varnish which was re-approval in this P@D project. The advantage is that in long run if there are scratches it won't be that obvious. If we want the shinning type, we need to find our own contractor to do it, is that true? Hello Siron, what did they do to your household shelter that it closes smoothly? Did they make your black rubber strip round the door thinner? Mine is the same as what FT wrote. We need to insert a force near the closing gap in order to close it which was what that bangladesh supervisor has mentioned. |

Yesterday I went to the IT show & saw something quite interesting. It is s device that will help to reduce about 30% of the household electricity bill. It shows $209 in the IT show. I have bought it. Anyone bought it too? There is 90 days money back guarantee for this device. Hope this really work. Check out this website :-http://www.h2hgroup.org/ |

Sorry typo error........I meant the P@D bedrooms flooring are using matt varnishing pre-approved for this project & not shinning varnishing as it last long, any scratches in the future will not be that obvious. |

snowwhite I'm a baby Shroomy! Posts:37 12 Mar 2010 09:34 AM Quote Reply Alert Gave up in BSC they said they wont lacquer the bedroom floors. And my ID had his contractor check my flooring... seems like its ok... not many scratches. So in the end not doing anything to the floor. Is it true that Pinnacle does not have starhub signal yet? I called them to change the address for my cable tv and broadband next week. But they say the signal will only be up between the 22 and 26 March. Is want to activate early have to pay extra charges! How come like that one? So troublesome! Have to be without cable and internet for more than a week!! How to survive? hehe => How about bringing a laptop with USB TV tuner to test it out? |

Is it come together/ install on the cover of the toilet bowl? or just the spray that usually hanging by the side of the toilet? Both also know as bidet right? => It can refer to both, but the bidet under discussion here is for washing toilet bowl. |
