dear neighbours, those in block C, do u find the lift making a loud banging noise, each time door close & start going up

GG - yap....quite scary. been wondering that there is no emergency number on the lift, what if one got trap inside? anyway got number also no use....no signal to call out....so u r busy packing now?

KH - starting to bring over some things like kitchen stuff alrdy.. y/day, my 2 flat screen tv, fridge, sofa, dining set was delivered + city gas connecting of gas hob. was there till almost 4pm. Tdy ikea wl come assemble my study rm items.

Gave up in BSC they said they wont lacquer the bedroom floors. And my ID had his contractor check my flooring... seems like its ok... not many scratches. So in the end not doing anything to the floor.

Is it true that Pinnacle does not have starhub signal yet? I called them to change the address for my cable tv and broadband next week. But they say the signal will only be up between the 22 and 26 March. Is want to activate early have to pay extra charges! How come like that one? So troublesome! Have to be without cable and internet for more than a week!! How to survive? hehe

Went to Blk E to see the showroom, one of the lift we took also having a loud bang sound each time the door open or close! think the doors are fixing too near to the inner gap of the lift!

snowwhite, if I am not wrong, there is starhub signal in Pinnacle but it is not activated yet... They will do the mass activiation in March FOC. However, those who wants to activate the signal before that have to pay for it. I activate mine in Feb and hv to pay $32.10 for the early activation =<

Due to lots of complains from P@D, citigas Rinnai's contractor refuses to install the Rinnai water heater for me.

The lady told me that they need me to write an email to them and stated that I really in need of the Rinnai water heater and I have to state my reason for it!
She also said that even with my email, they will pass to the manager and which also pending for approval for the intallation!
Wah! this is more harder than applying for housing loan at bank leh....wah...SUPER JIALAT!!

Hmmm... Totoroll, since there are so many complains abt the gas heater, why are you still insisting of installing it?

as we are not a heavy user for water heater & also compared to all the other multisplit water heaters which many already bought & installed, the usage for electricity is quite high. so to save $$, Rinnai is still the best!

totoroll u r nt ggto shower every min of ur day..... its just dat maybe at most 1-2 hr turn on d heatern off once finish....so canot tink in dat way :D

As for the tv licence, apply nw n pay at d end of each year together wif d property tax ??

Totoroll, I have installed the multipoint heater. The electricity usage is not as high as you think, you just have to off the heater when you are not using it. In fact, one of my friend who came over to my hse was thinking of changing his storage heater to multipoint heater to save electricity...

I've oreli install d mixer for the common toilet... will post d pic 2 9... d indian guy frm BSC charged me $110 flat..... i checked in d net, dis is a paffoni brand, stick series shower model, d bottom pc quoted to me is $150++, haven include delviery n instalaltion charges (which I din ask)

FT, i think property tax does not include TV licence anymore! They are now in seperate payments!

never thought of using storage heater, its too big for us & our yard.
btw, FT & ariesyeo, thanks for yr info. Basically, ariesyeo what you mean is just off the heater switch at the bathroom entrance will just turn off the heater.
Will still write in to citigas & see how it goes! who knows they will agree to install it for me!

Just for info for those who has not installed the Rinnai gas heater.

City Gas will not install the 8L gas heater anymore for Pinnacle units because of the numerous complains on flame extinguishing and water pressure.

Instead they are offering an upgrade to a 16L gas heater with a top up of $270 but will only be available in April.

Otherwise they will offer refund for the Rinnai heater.

Totoroll, the heater switch outside the individual bathroom is for instant heater. Storage & multipoint heater switch is located outside the kitchen...
