Just had Ocean Curry Fish Head at the corner coffeeshop facing Amoy Street Food Center
The curry fish head. I think the pot is too big, so you cant really see the fish :( The gravy is thick and pretty spicy, at least for me
The fish is nice or rather normal lah...Just wished that there are more vegetables like lady fingers, brinjals. I think there are only 3 pieces of brinjal ?
The tomatoes are not very cooked too, still a bit hard.
Some vegetables with ikan bilis
I like this: Big Ikan Bilis. In Chinese, it's nick is called 美人鱼 Or The Mermaid
Sweet and Sour Beancurd
This is the chinese name

Wah Flipper, the weather so hot and you still go for curry fish head!
Anyway, thanks for letting me know that Ocean actually has so many outlets. I always thought they have only one at Toa Payoh. Is the pricing the same?
Care to share how much the meal cost?

It rained for a little while before lunch, so weather was quite ok. Just a bit humid :)
Eh...share with you the pricing tomorrow, cos my boss paid first then he went out for meeting. Pay him tomorrow. hee hee
Speaking of Suakuness, my mum stayed in Toa Payoh and I have never tried Ocean...This is the first time I tried |
