I was at Central yesterday. Crowd has started to pick up. But, it's still not as busy as other malls above a MRT station e.g. Bugis. Could it be the tenant mix? I dunno. |

IMO, tenant mix MIGHT be a reason. But i feel most part of the reason might be the configuration of the interior. My first impression when i stepped inside was of a crammpy and maze-like one. To stuff so many tenant into one small building, common areas like corridors and communal spaces will be minimized. |

Think Waraku is naturally popular for its place and food.
Not a surprise it has good business over @ central.
But generally, Central can use some traffic..

went there for mai maison once before.. i find the entrance facing NEL to be more crowded than the remaining entrances.. people don't go shopping after working hours on weekdays, and Central is kind of out of the place to visit for shopping during the weekend..

Huh? why great for us? you mean great for shopping only during the weekdays?
meanwhile, I was surpised when I find Minitoons at Central.. thought I would only see those high end shops there...

That's why Central has such a weird tenant mix. ;) |

i guess maybe Far East is trying to attract youngsters during the weekends (thus explaining the existence of tenants like mini toons) and working OL during weekdays (through the presence of higher end tenants), all at the same time..

guess that was why Far East actually thinks about projecting itself out to the youngsters during weekends..? working adults with cars would not want to enter that place..
