The Black Knights can be seen clearly from the living room of my home. Yes Hya is right there are many interesting formations this year. I will post photos when the next rehearsal comes or probably when the real thing comes. Fireworks, too! Got camera, will capture.

The heart shape formation looks like two planes look like going to crash at each other then afteerwords then suddenly they will go diagonally up and trun upside down. And there you go, a heart! The Black Knights also has one where all the black knights fly up then go upside down to look like big hand or a flower I think.

Thank you Hya for the rehearsal dates! The black knights + fireworks wold probably come on the 5th of July as you have listed it. I have seen the black knights formation twice and the first heart was better but the second formation was not so good as the clouds shrouded it and the heart was not perfect

wow! I've not seen it yet. though, i heard the planes flying past at workplace.

I like the NDP symbol and slogan this year, it really makes me feel proud about Singapore. We really have achieved SO MUCH!

By the way, the black knights stunts are so impressive! I like the flaming heart (not the hert for NDP 2008) consists of two jets making a heart and then another jet shoots through the centre of the heart!

looks so nice... too bad I can't go cos only have 2 tix.. hubby bring my kid along... It's either me or him bringing the kid along so I decided to let him bring ... :(

I dont think Belyl will. Hotel prices are shooting up to unreasonably high prices just because they have view of the NDP. I would rather go to Benjamin Sheares bridge where it is reasonably close enough to all the hype and action.

so cheap... when I read in the papers it was stated it's $1000 for a night's stay... I think maybe it's for the 9 Aug one... maybe rehearsals are cheaper... mmm I think I would just give them a call :)

I actually booked a room last yr.. but prices aren't that high ... it's $1000+ for 2 nights. But it was reported in the papers that the prices for this year's NDP room rates was $1000 per night... I was like ... WOW... but I just saw the package which hya just posted.. if it's only $400+  .. I might consider booking a room again
