Amk looks safe. the proposed development is just beside the police centre...

Personally I don't mind the police centre. Might help to reduce crime rates? hah.
Kallang one is so near to the expressway, not a good location

For location wise, Tampines and Woodlands looks good. What do you think?

Hi holy elves! Why is that not good location? Hehe amk got two bto. I wonder if staying near police has potential. Cause personally I prefer to stay near to shopping centre.

I would say that the prices might be a little too steep for my taste but considering how expensive it is in this place, some may say that it is a fair price. But having the security in these location is quite concerning.

Hi jane2mds49. Welcome to mht! Location at amk to town and other areas in Singapore is very convenient. But one is near police centre, the other to expressway. I think that is concerning to me, wonder if that is what you feel too. I don't think the price is fair or expensive. But I rather spend more money to get other locations rather than amk. I prefer Kallang one. Woodlands is too out of the way. Expressway always jam and public transport always crowded..

Wow That is very convenient. The bto near police centre is the one near the mrt. Well, amk hub is very popular as well so I guess that is one aspect that I can see if you want to be near shopping centres. I don't like the other one near the expressway. Kallang and cck are not that up to expectation when comparing location and convenience to town. Woodlands and kallang seem to be better but probably most people will choose amk? If thinking of investment, do you think amk has great potential?

BTO sure earn money in the long term.. The near expressway one is near NYP so the demand will always be present. Those with good location will not come cheap. Its your one and only chance at being a first timer so use it wisely. You may want to consider EC if you are looking for greater returns cos BTO will still be BTO in the end...

I do agree with holyelves. For this upcoming bto launch, the best locations are amk and woodlands. For amk, holyelves has explained it all. Location wise is the best with the MRT nearby as well as the amenities. Similiarly to woodlands, near to the mrt with such a big Causeway Point for your daily needs. Many schools around that area, Republic Poly and Woodlands Pri and 888 plaza. I don't think Kallang is good location. Kind of an ulu place? Nearest mrt is Boon Keng which is also quite a distance away. If I were to get a bto, I would go for Amk or Woodlands.

Hey guys, wanna make a guess when will be the date of launch? Upcoming month is September! Wonder if they will launch in the middle of the month...

Noticed the last few bto launch dates were getting later and later. no surprise if they are going to launch on 30 sep this time T.T!

Welcome tgst! Yup previous launch was on the last day. But having to wait till the end don't know if it is a good thing. Probably they have the mindset of good things are worthwhile to wait

I hope i can get a better ballot number for this sep's bto. have been trying since nov 2011 and always getting a number which is double the available flats for selection -.-" so disappointing.

Was thinking if i should try getting tampines again - the last time i couldn't even get a number. or should i try amk since its nearer to mrt and more units~

Welcome tgst! Are you a first timer? Heard first timer has higher chance of getting bto. This time round I would prefer amk. No doubt tampiness is a good choice and one of the favorite among people but amk has great amenities and convenience and the most important factor is has potential. Good luck to you in advance! Yea first timer, but when there are too many ppl applying , it makes no difference with the additional 1 chance. =/
Im looking at 4 rooms, think ill go for amk since its also nearer to my parents' place
