Under conditions that u r taking HDB loan and not bank loan.
You need to have at least 13% of you purchased unit in your cpf acc, then you will get back your 5% option fee....
U may wonder why 13%.....As HDB will loan up to 90%, you just need to have 10% in your cpf acc.
The other 3% inclu the stamp fee etc...That y if both u and your spouse both have at least 13% of the unit price in your cpf ordinary acc, then will get back the option fee in about 1-2 months time.....

Hi XiaoCat, I was among those that booked a unit in Blk138A too on second day of selection. I only received the HDB loan offer last week and still waiting patiently for my S&P. When did you select your unit? How is the unit sales so far when you were there? |

Hi Riberia, by loan offer, you dun mean HLE approval but actual loan percentage offer right? we signed on 2nd day too and up till now, no news at all!! getting abit frustrated and ERA seems quite clueless. Sales is still not so great, i would say around 30%-40%. |

hi ribera, oh... i m going for bank loan and according to the bank personnel, they advise that we sign the bank loan after the S&P is signed.so meanwhile, i am looking around for better bank loan rates while waiting... i selected my flat on the first day of walk in selection on 26th nov... got the queue num of 20+ despite reaching there early.. there were still quite a lot of unit still leftover then but i was looking at Blk 138A and by the time it was my turn, i only manage to get my third choice of unit.. went there a month back to submit the docs since mine was a proxy case so it took some times to get all docs signed and returned, the balance flat was still quite a number but then there were alsol many families visiting the showflat there.... =) |

hi pcm
I got my HLE approved with the loan quantum before my selection and last week I received the official loan offer from HDB. The letter basically tell you the cash upfront required, CPF to set aside for stamp fees and initial 20% down payment etc. btw, The letter quoted my stamp at about 2.5% of purchase price and not 3% as indicated in the OTP document. Anybody know why the difference? |

Hi XiaoCat,
I understand from others that the S&P must be signed within 9 weeks from the date the developers submitted the full set of documents to HDB, not OTP so no worry on that. So did you select the 4 or 5 rooms?
