Being 小女人 is fine. Just stay as 小女人 throughout.
What i cannot tahan is those who act 小女人 SELECTIVELY. i.e. act when it is to their advantage.

Marry up or Marry down... sometimes it is perception manangement. If both husband and wife are able to accept the whole idea... then it should be okay....Marriage takes a lot of trust and respect in all areas...else it would work.... well that's how I feel.... after married for 8 years... |

Marry up/down….educational qualification….society norm….
All this rubbish terminologies that have a profound impact
on the society and mankind, is already
spreading at an alarming rate that literally scare the hell out of the
political and policy makers world wide.
Human beings are such an incredible creatures that it
behaved and reacted in an almost predictable manner, is indeed classic.
If we are all devoided of these terminologies and throw into
the concentration camp, love will flourish naturally and soul blossom in
another dimensions.

because I do not mind, if he love me, you might various reasons was unable to study more .... not necessarily because they are devoid of neurons.

If in many societies has been very common for the man of money to his wife or keep the money home, because it can not be the opposite? total, is for the benefit of home ..... the costs are shared, but the wife can make more than her husband, then nothing happens! Not to make less money ... the husband let to be a man ..

I don't mind as long as get along well.  My hubby initially is only a small clerk but he has the wil to upgrade himself and study part time to degree holder now.
Impt thing is that we shldn't see pple qualification but the char and virtues in him/her...

My gf is also older and more qualified than me. So is that considered marrying up?
Haha.. but our earning powers are almost the same.. so is that considered equal?
I'm more interested in academic rigour and had been quite a stellar performer, relative to her, so far.. and is that considered marrying down then?

I think whether it matters or not depends on the individual. Some will say love overrides and overrules all.. others might bow down to pressures from families or friends.. or even their own ego and need to feel protected.
