Seahorse? Is it too hard? I've heard many saying Tempur is gd but how gd? How do we choose our pillow? I've tried latex pillow & contoured pillow. My stiff neck is reali v bad tat I feel like crying at times & it caused me to have headaches

If it's so painful to make you cry, maybe you should seek professional advice from doctors ? I've an ex-colleague who also suffer from stiff neck, and she went to see TTSH doctor who recommended her to undergo physiotherapy. Her condition improved tremendously after that

dun sleep with your wet hair. It will cause sore "wind" in head, neck to the back area..due to dampness..

This is the pillow I'm using...from Tempur..can't remember the price..think is around $300+..I've changed 3 already...every 2 years change to a new one.

Beside using a good pillow, it's important to seek medical attention, eg. get a good chiropractor which is able to help you.

I'm using tempur too! Very good! U can really feel the difference! :) if u find the price too high, I suggest u an wait for the quarterly isetan sale to get it at 20% off! But u'll have to be a card member or u can go with someone who's a member! ;) highly recommended coz I've tried so many others but no use... Take it as an investment since it can last long too.

YOU NEED TO SEE AN OSTEOPATH. Search up the web or directory yourself.

Just beware of the following:

Orthopaedic specialists at hospital - Spent $ first on xray, MRI, CT scan. "Serious"  or minor issue all refer to physiotherapy.

Private Physiotherapist - If they know that vertebrae misaligned but they are still helpless in aligning them back.

Chinese Tuina Massage - Can provide good relaxation and relieve but will not resolve the problem.

TCM Physiotherapist (China trained) - Mostly if they came from China and if they use forceful manipulation methods. Appears to solve the problem but make it worst with every session.

Die Da 跌打 - This one will harm or worst, kill you i am not kidding.

ROLFING/ STRUCTURAL INTEGRATION -
CLAIMED to re-establishing the natural alignment and structural integration of our human body. IF you have serious vertebrae misalignment due to accident, they are clueless to resolve it. Results only last as long as in the treatment room. Expensive.

Chiropractic - beware of those who need to constantly advertise in the newspaper. I'm refering to the one i met. If you feel that you will need to burn a big hole in your purse or pocket to treat your condition, but not knowing the reason and seeing immediate benefit after some treatment then you should look elsewhere.

TCM Doctor trained in bone injury and manipulation - This one is not in the list because without them i would have been dead many times. They are skilled and use gentle manipulation techniques to stablize the condition. But beyond that they cannot be used to resolve the most problematic case.Because they mainly have just a few methods of manipulation.  Their knowledge in Spinal manipulation isnt complete because TCM doctors usually specialize in other areas like acupuncture. But their fees can be cheaper and more affordable.

I have provided my most truthful and unbiased review based on my personal experience with each of them in the past 3 years when my neck problem started. Only one which is TCM doctor i give positive review,.The rest all in beware list. Reason: You can try them but if your condition is serious and after spenting lots of time and money doesn't resolve then you will be delaying valueable time in seeking correct treatment.

Stiff neck can arise if no sufficient sleep. That happens to be with stiff shoulders. Recently I got the Ossim
U-mama massage vest. It seem to help. Averagely I used it approx 20min/day while watching tv.

Simmons pillows are good too. Currently I am using their beauty sleep pillows. When these wears out, I'll get their neck care pillows. If you hv tried them in the stores, are they better than the Tempur ones..
