we got this lady to do my boy's first bd cake.. weigh 8kg cost about $270. however she operates from home.. check out her website... she's fully book for 2008 and Jan, Feb, Jun, Jul, Aug & Sep 2009. She's very popular.

i'll dig out the photo of my boy's cake n post here... i got heart attacked when my wife told me the price.. but after seeing the cake... it's very worth it.

Sunny! Her cakes look so so lovely! But quite costly though good value for money, hubby would probably kill me for spending so much on a cake... haha!! However, it's tempting!!! |

sune: you saw her cup cakes?? most ladies falled for that... my friend's daugther is the Janelle Strawberry shortcake cake... 3 tier... very nice... mine a=was a pirate ship, but not the one in the web... she removed the earlier pictures... her web under construction now. mine was a 2 tier cake... |

I like the choc cake from Awfully Choc though some pple prefer the choc cake from Pine's Garden. I personally find Pine's Choc Cake a tad too dry for my liking. Those who prefer Pine's Choc cake over Awfully Choc is cos the latter is too moist for their liking. haha :)

i got my boy's first month cake from GOBI... not exactly cake, more like chocolate.. 6 mini sizes.. let me dig the photos from the other laptop... |

wow, i didn't know the folks here (especially belyl and sunny) are such pastries lovers... so far, i only got cakes from four leaves / breadtalk / bakerzin / begawan / etc... |

once you tried Laurent's Blackforest cake u won't like those sold at other confectioneries. I dun really like cakes but Laurent really won me over.... I had fallen in love with their Blackforest cake
