Ever felt so so "ill-treated" by any of your co-workers or bosses?  So bad that you felt like stabbing him to death sometimes?  Haha, let's release it all here....

It's illegal to kill someone, by the way.

I'm always a frank person. Are you jealous of my good relations with colleagues and boss? ;)

hya, i am indeed jealous of you.

belyl, you moving to a new workplace?

it's truly hard to get a good working environment, especially working with girls...
i have to demean my own species since it's really true that girls are hard to please and always bearing grudges as compare to men.

this is though i have a really unpleasant guy here, but becos he behaves like a woman. haha

a, got any openings? I would love to have good good colleagues too.

i was enjoying good friendships with a ex-colleague, we went about our daily work happily, any problems, we would discussed together. if there's any after office outings, we would try to go out together, she and her boyfriend would always join my family.

but when the interests of work promotion came one day, things turn horribly ugly. i cry for days lor, after this incident, i am very very wary of people. Now in new office, i am still dumb but i am more cautious now.

tat must be really sad for you. I been through what I been thru too. Sad that things turned out that way. Esp when you trusted this person so much and treated her like a dear friend. But sadly in this world, it's not always the case where u get treated as well as you treat others. Sigh

ya, my husband and buddy said i was really dumb...
go to work too free then must make friends meh? haha... imagine being scolded lor.
now, i more defensive, it's truly hard to tell a person's character.
but i have a senior in my department whom truly takes good care of me here, when i'm new here, she taught me all she knew. So, i am very appreciative and always defend her if people bully our department becos she's the one whom suffers quietly and don't speak up. maybe another dumb thing, but hubby doesn't know :p hehe...

so this reflects that guys are more world wise as compared to innocent gals... haha...
you will be shocked to find more things they have in common, like views of maid, my husband and my buddy's husband would practically say the same stuff about them.

it would be a perfect world if everyone can just do their own job properly and quit being such a bitch and rouge.

my company's got....

1. greedy folks whom like to find every possible opportunities to charge their lunch or dinner to the company
(training sessions / seminars / visitors - ordering of twice than needed food so as to eat themselves)

2. going on company incentive trip, you would hear people asking organiser about whether sour plum /
potato chips / any other you can imagine stuff, would be provided for them.
when it unfortunately rains, the same group of people would ask organiser why never bring umbrella for
them.

3. Standing around talking, having coffee, and still able to keep saying "I'm so busy"...
then if you belong to one of the group whom suck up to the boss, you gained entry to the club of
benefits lor.

Hubby told me to gain entry, but too bad i'm doomed to be arch enemy eventhough he might be at the position of amd...

Sad to hear that people used you by taking advantage of you and your kind, sweet, open disposition, suneilee!

I guess a great deal of all of this sort of "office politics" depends in part on the size of the office you're working in; I know it hurts on all levels, no matter from where it comes.

This is a universal phenomenon: office wars! From my own past experience that it's the same whether you're in a big office with over 100 employees or a small with with just 6 or 8 people total. There's always someone who hates you, who envies you, who'd like to have your spot, who badmouthes, outmaneuvers and possibly ultimately "gets" you. Also, this cat and mouse game goes on at all levels, not merely among the employees but also among the bosses.

In any working situation, these shenanigans go on day in and day out for months and years on end!

This really is an unhealthy situation for the business world as a whole. Every worker, be they stock clerk or vice president, would perform better if they didn't have to constantly look across their shoulder for fear of the advancing would-be competition.

i love you, seafan.
pardon me, so human are by nature evil? haha...
survivor of the fittest?

i wish i could be like these people, perhaps it would make me survive better, stabbing a fellow colleague just minutes after I smile to them at the pantry, without even feeling anything. after work, just dump everything behind my shoulders and climb my way to the top by stepping on other people.

this is what people said about "working smart"!!?

*sigh*

So far I have quite good relationship with my colleagues except for a few which I can see eyes to what he do. Any way, it's not my problems. Just feel injustice to the wife :( it's their personal life , not at a lib to talk.

office politics is often a case of "Outwit Outplay Outlast"...

if you can't, then you will be out of job...
