haha! This is not how my friends view it, they are telling me that by the time I have all the time to myself, I am too old to travel around the world :p
Now, they are young and without burden, they can travel around to enjoy.

not really when ur kids are all grown up .. u are only in ur 40s and happily enjoying ur time while they struggle with kids... I think u are a mother at quite a young age.... but it's good... and kids these days.. when they reach their teens .. they dun really want us already... it's gonna cost quite a bit to bring your whole family to HK but the kids will love it.. esp disneyland

Yup, disneyland :)
next year eldest staring P1, my hubby said can only go school holiday...
but 2nd one still a bit short and only 5 yrs old this year, so maybe if go next year, then he a bit taller can play more games there? haha
the youngest one would have to look on jealously then as his brothers go on the rides.
Disneyland hotels are also very expensive... otherwise it would be good to stay there for 1 night? without rushing around?

Hubby is making noise to go in october or nov, before the eldest goes to primary 1 next year...
Everything so expensive... the hotel especially, and flight tickets for us with the 3 kids. Anyone here got special hotel corporate rates can help??

Wow, the weather is just about the same as here, starting to sweat just thinking of it.
Heard from my boss that the typhoon is sort of affecting Shanghai too while he's there now...

Oh, but at least it rained, at least helps to reduce the heat.

my office here in singapore is always freezing cold, so when it's the weekends and i'm at home, I can't stand the heat... tend to hide in my bedroom switching on the aircon full blast.

my hubby and i love hong kong's temperature, especially during the winter!!! We went to Tai O in our last trip, the temperature was so so nice, very very cooling :)

But in summer, I heard it's very humid? Bad for drying of wet clothes.

I have some Hong Kong pictures to share too...

Stayed at Landmark Mandarin earlier this year, it was a very nice hotel. They had a handwritten welcome card, fruits, Chinese tea waiting for us...

Hi Ribena, how much did you pay for the hotel room?
I stayed with the Harbour Plaza North Point last time, also quite good...

Everything from toiletries to mini bar contents was fantastic! That's all for the pics for Landmark, limited pictures as I don't normally bring camera for trips to Hong Kong. All taken using hp!

I have pictures for another hotel, Renaissance Harbourfront i think. Let me go dig them up. the rooms are HUGE. this was not a sponsored trip, paid around $200+ for the hotel using online booking at their website sometime in 2007.
