I have not said yes yet! And I dont know how much I will be paid! But suddenly the possibility is real. I mean when I came for this holiday I didnt even have an inkling that I could be working in Hong Kong as early as July! And Arb, no, real estate in HK is the most expensive in the world. I am not rich, as I keep repeating, but you dont believe! |

Andrea: The frequent flyer points do not come from travel but almos all from credit card spending! Hahaha. You see I have been renovating my houses and as I was paying for those things I use credit card lah! That is how I accumulate all these points. I get hundreds and thousands of points which translate to a helluva lot of free tickets. Thats why I can fly here and there for free. If I travel economy it is even better. |

Lieb - don't accept the job offer lah. If a company can offer you a job with just 1 interview and don't need resume etc., how good can the company be? :-) |

Of course she had seen my resume. SO she wanted to see me and find out why I want to work in Hong Kong. So I told her. During the interview I realise that it would be a good fit. It is a hong kong law firm. I will have to sit for an exam to get admitted to Hong Kong. I dont see why not. It would be nice to work in Hong Kong! |

How come she has seen your resume? Thought you went HK for holiday and didn't expect to have job interview and didn't have the right clothes with you? |

Hi lieblingsg, Recently I redeemed my krisflyer points for two tics to HK, but still need to pay for some charges (about 93 dollars per tic). Is there anyway that I can convince them to waive the extra charges? Congrats on your offer. I hope one day I would be given a chance to work on this dynamic island. |

lieb you knows what's best i suppose.... just that i think people here will miss you cos they just found out about you , your flat, you indulgences.. and you are leaving.... sad lor.... hahahaha.... The place i stay is Ashley Apartment in TSS. You can google it for the web address (i can't remember). Good location, slightly more ex but super more comfy than those hotel along Nathan Road... Btw, it's located quite to the end of Nathan Road towards Sheraton... there's a HMV just outside the apartment. I met my friend over there staying at the same place. Apparently very popular with Singaporeans who found out about this apartment. They have 3 sizes of rooms. The smallest being without the "living" and kitchen. Mine's the mid range and there's the family size suite. |
