hiya! happy new year to you too :) at stack 13. u?

went by to the site on weekend and spotted more cranes on site. yay! we've made some requests to sim lian on modification of our unit. havent heard from them though. have you?

Made some requests to modify our unit too... Have also spoken to the lady in charge from sim lian but have not got the firm reply yet, no hurry la, still early. ;)

There was talks abt revamp of defu industrial estate & redevelopment of the hougang area so hope it will turn into a nicer place sooner rather than later ya!

Haha... Although I equally hope its gonna be a MRT station or event a retail mall, I think it's most likely to be a Pc development (hope not EC) cos the agent told me so... I really hope the wish of MRT can come true like a miracle... Maybe a line for industrial estates to be connected to residential etc... Linking the amk, eunos commercial/industrial areas.... Lol

great pics starystarynight! do you stay around the area now or like me, you like to go there occasionally to check out the site? when we were there on sat, saw the area behind sungei serangoon opp. pv being cleared. believe it's for industrial development. i hope it's light clean industry and building wont be too high... was really attracted to the greenery there when we bought pv.

im constantly thinking up ideas for the area too. hoping for the upcoming dewcourt plus pv to inject some youthfulness and vitality in the area. more shops, eating places etcetc. apparently there used to be a wet market and hawker centre at that patch of green and it was pretty popular (been trawling the net to find out about hougang haha). if more amenities spring up there, would be a super bonus!

Ya nan, we also will loop by occasionally to look see look see... Excited!!!

I wrote into URA pleading for retail and/or mrt development at the reserve site next to pv, quoting reasons which I can think of, they replied to say they have forwarded to hdb for future consideration. Hopes it will make some differences in their planning, afterall the site was meant for residential/commercial development when they vacant the land several years back... Kekekeeeee

Wow pv hope Ura/hdb does factor that in. Update if u hear frm them ya. I suppose it's a little early to request now but hope the road access to pv frm ave 7 punggol side gets easier. Currently need to make u turn back cus can only drive frm tampines road side.

So what made u guys decide on this development? Sounds like we're all in it as occupants not investors ya

Ha... But I doubt hdb/ura will take my point in if I am the only one asking, unless there is a real demand (like many residents or users writing in to make the requests too).... Maybe have to see what u guys can do liao :)

Yup, pv looks like mostly owners occupied, heard mostly 3 & 4 brm are more popular

where you send your request to by email or go to their office ? need to show them the floor plan ?
