Not much crowd @ WT high tea held yesterday, and we were there to check out for tiles/colour/open or close kitchen selection before the show flat close in 1 or 2 months times.
With investor, season buyer, late 40-50s up-grader, family with kids of 10+, these group seldom post in MHT.
Younger group who bought suite or Soho were cracking head on the layout at the show flat, its looks challenging to me as how to plan the furniture layout.
Surprisingly there r still ppl enquiring at the showflat, which currently remaining units sky patio r priced 1.9mil up! |

yep my family like spending weekend evening/nights at the waterway - its quite quiet for now. we like the part near the huge sand pit - very quiet and peaceful at night, with a nice calming view |

What is your view in regards to the number of units versus number of carpark lots for ATT? |

ATT should have about 50 units left. The maintenance fees is between $200 ~ $300, depending on the size of the unit. As for carpark wise, would wish it is a 1 to 1 (or better) allocation to avoid unnecessary competition amongst owners. If not allocated, maybe can consider season parking at nearby HDB, but the mgmt must pay for it since we pay the maintenance fees as well. |

Hi Zekel323, you interested? =) Think there are about 50 units or so left. Maintenance fee should not be much consider the no of units. last i heard is under $200 for 2 and 2 + S. This carpark issue has been discussed many times over by ATT owners much earlier on..but its something that we cannot change. Since we are so near the MRT, we are hoping that there will be an fair number who don't drive. According to some research (eg. on CompassHeights, its true that a certain % don't -can't rem the actual %). Of course there are the visitors but don't think its an every day thing..they can park at WT and do some shopping! Finally, I am hoping that one household is limited to one lot only - not sure if this is the norm for PCs. |

I am one of them who wouldn't need a car park. I won't be buying a car as that was the whole point of buying a unit close to MRT. Also, I can always take a taxi as and when required. Why waste so much money every month on maintaining a car when you can use a taxi and MRT? Nowadays there are so many private buses which take you to Shenton way and CBD for a nominal amount. It's very comfortable as well.
From what I heard while booking the unit from several people is that there are several units which were bought for investment, so most likely they are going to rent out the units to non-car owners. Hence, don't forsee an issue with parking at all.

Car Park matter is quite straight forward I think, its a 1 is to 1 stuff, owners want extra lots need to apply for and subject to approval, ofcourse with additional cost.
Staying near MRT, driving or plan not to drive the likelyhood is very high for many car owners.
Petrol/COE and parking r just to high to sustain, thats why many choose to live next to the MRT n plan not to drive.
Ever read from property agent report commented those HDB near/next to MRT r difficult to find cos no ready seller,
reason are simple as ppl rather dun take profit from selling then incur more transport cost and time wasting in travelling.
Future north shore line to be confirm n build and by then for sure travelling to airport or maybe JB is just "min" away! ya "min"! sound like a damn sales man@#$%^ |

maintance for 3bedders is also <$200/mth due to economics of scale...
Agree with the guys on the carpark lots...
- no. of lots is slightly lower than no. of units...
- investors, usually rent out their units, and tenants near mrt seldom drive
- lots of pple buy ATT so that they dun need a car to get ard...
- mgmt can always restrict 1 car per unit policy...
Having said these, however there are habitual driver like me...
Got so used to driving, and it's unlikely I will give it up unless our dear COE is gg to remain at the sky-high price long term...
P.S. dun even dream abt getting reimbursed for parking in HBD next door |
