When u got it? u staying nearby? the only thing that attracts me is probably the price...not too exp...but the finishings are not good quality....flooring for living..kitchen..kitchen appliances...tap...cabinets....SO SO only...as compared to other ECs... and Location is not very fantastic too leh...still considering...

What makes u decide to own it? u have kids? i have...so....

Personal view:
1. Near to parent and they can take care of my kids
2. Potential development of the river and future canberra mrt which appears in mighty mind street directory 2012 in popular store
3. Near to seletar aerospace park
4. Near to ns expressway
5. Surrounded by pte housing will benefit future resales price
6. Yishun central developing into hub

Though most are future development, buying a unpolish gems now will probably resulted in higher capital gain

hey vano...i got it few weeks back...
i am not married and do not have any kids. Buying this with my dad...
some of my reason of getting one canberra are:

1. Dad wanting to stay in a condo, and aft im married, me and husband will have own space and of cos he will have his too.
2. I have many sisters, all stayed at north area and we love gathering~
3. Agree some points with onecanberra, there will be a new mrt and new expressway near there.
4. Dad prefers north area than punggol and sengkang.
5. There is one direct bus stop at the back gate.
6. And yes, it is not surrounded by hdb flats.
7. Agree with you, the price is quite reasonable
8. if i were to rent out the studio, i tot it will be quite "easy' to rent out cos it is near the industrial parks.. sure there are overseas talents in need of stay.

oops, this is my first hse, so i tot the furnishing was alright.. just dun really like the built-in wardrobe though.haha..

if you are considering other condo, i would tot of Flo residences may be a good choice.. =p

I visited River Isles. Find this is much nicer and better then Flo. (just my personal view).

i find river isles cocept pretty similar to 1C... surrounded by water....

Those that bought earlier have a wider choice of units to choose from.  Look on the bright side and ones will be happy.

welcome big family. I know 1canberra is very well knowned. slow sales would be competition. Most people would rather opt for eCo, Heron Bay and other highly competitive developers. If want to have a nice river or 'water' beside your house, I believe Punggol would be the first thing that comes to mind. Canberra is good since you have lots of privacy but for Yishun location, most people will think twice. Just my two cents...
