Hi,
The laminate floor in my bathroom has dye/paint on it and I don't know how to get it off. The color came from the dye/decoration on a plastic bag that got wedged under a hamper and got wet. The ink transferred to the floor and now I don't know how to get it off. The flooring is not the best, and I know that if I use a scrubby on it I'll just damage the floor. Any suggestions?
Thanks!

can try a solvent like "Thinner" or "Tuppertine", remember to rinse the floor thoroughly after that. May leave a blur patch but if that happens, use a polish to buff it off. |

1.Clean the stained area with a vacuum to remove all dirt that could scratch the surface of the laminate floors when you are cleaning. 2.Apply a cleaner with acetone, such as nail polish remover, to a cloth. 3. Apply the stain cleaner on the stain and let it set for one to two minutes 4.Wipe up the stain and cleaner using a cloth and warm water. You may need to apply pressure to lift the stain. If the stain is not removed, repeat the process. Also try these Goof off is a good product, but the fumes are noxious. Krud cutter, smells more like a detergent, but will remove dried latex paint well. Both goof off, and Krud cutter can be found at most home improvement centers or paint stores. If the paint was oil based, try your fingernail. Laminate flooring has a tough surface, that is resistant to scratching, so if your fingernail doesn't work, a putty knife with rounded corners can be used, if you are careful. |

I think you use the professional cleaner or use the dye remover, a steam iron and some terry cloth towel and it gives good and exact solution in this subject.
