I chose a unit at 807a - facing the seaside. Alot of people cheong 808A units 112 and 110. By the time my turn, all the 10th floors and above taken

By the way, the price seems a bit steep though. Not sure can appreciate in value or not.

The closest 4 room units to Ping Yi Greens would be Block 10 and Block 11 chai chee road.

I checked at the HDB  site past year resale prices for these 2 blocks and the range was from 495k to 550k.

Bedok is a matured estate. So the quantum will be higher than Punggol.

Anyways, there was someone who mentioned that Bedok HDB price when up $68k in 1.5 years (if I remember correctly). And one Minister came up to say buy what you can afford.

I think resale value will be there so long as Singapore economy does well.

I did a mini review at Hardwarezone forum. Reproduced here for the benefit of all.

"Hi hi,

anyone selected their units already under the BTO scheme? I selected mine already. Queue number 2X. Went for one of the top floors facing the south.

Good: I quite like the area to be honest. Its near wet market stalls and kopitiams (blk 27A area) so food not a problem. There is even a NTUC at blk29b area so grocery shopping already covered which is a bonus (and unexpected one).

It has decent sea breezes too. Yes went down to recce at the spot. The most important part: distance. The estate is a 900m walk (roughly 10 mins) from Bedok MRT and the town centre. The bus stops along the main road (New Upper Changi Road) are also only 500m away with 16 bus services.

Bad: Obviously a bit steep with the range for 4 room flats (which i had chosen) at $400,000 - $464,000 (90 sqm); even though admittedly its a mature town. I am not buying it for investment but will obviously hope to see it maintain its value at the very least. Otherwise cant appreciate also not very enticing prospect liao"

Hello Everyone, we just got a unit at Blk 808B. High floor. We wanted Blk 808A but our queue number is at the tail end so we thought we were lucky to have a high floor still facing south. :) Will log in here often for more details or updates by the future residents of PYG! :)

above 170. got a unit on the 14th floor just facing the hot block of 808A. i reckon i was lucky coz the attrition rate was pretty high too. i saw a few couples with queue numbers in front of us, they walked in came out in less than 10mins. what about yours? did you get a unit of your choice?@import url(/providers/htmleditorproviders/cehtmleditorprovider/dnngeneral.css);

Congrats! guess your queue number must be pretty good  to get a unit at that block facing south. :) looking forward to more updates and development of this area! :)@import url(/providers/htmleditorproviders/cehtmleditorprovider/dnngeneral.css);
