what are the nice food in District 23 ? Pls share, i only like the yong tau foo @ teck whye kopitiam behind the NTUC area..

choa chu kang garden's got a eatery there, very nice, but must go early in the evening to find carpark lots.
got bbq sotongs / stingrays / etc!! yummy |

i like the bbq and fried chicken wings rice or half chicken rice at teck whye. You know at teck why got 2 temples right? The hawker centre near it, got people sell western food, quite nice ley |

I really like the hot and sour seafood beehoon at Bt Panjang Plaza Kopitiam! It's not TOO hot and sour, really tasty |

I always like to take a MRT to Choa Chu Kang and hop on to the shopping mall next to it.
Food is cheaper than shopping malls in town.
The bakery offers Bread Talk style bread for only $1 each. |

Hi, staying at District 23 and would like to recommend some food that I love. Haha There is this neighbourhood shopping centre which is at Choa Chu Kang Ave 4 called Sunshine Place. Their Carrot Cake, Kway Chap and Hor Fun are delicious. In addition, you can head down to Lot one, where their Saba Fish at level 4 is good. haha There is this famous Chicken Rice around Bukit Batok area. Heard that Westmall Yong Tau Foo is delicious. it is making me hungry now! |

At Teck Whye there is coffee shop own by chinese but its halal - got halal certificate. I forgot the block number.. |

Quite a few places to eat at CCK. LOT1, Sunshine Plaza, Teck Whye, Yew Tee MRT etc. Nice? Quite subjective. The eating house at the park is waiting foa a new operator. |

ya! Totally agree!! Guess you stay at west area too? haha the eating park is near Lot 1 right? Selling muslim food last time? The Muslim food is nice, I used to eat their satay there. |

Yup. Been staying in the western part of S'pore since young. The park is near to the SHELL petrol kiosk. And yes, the satay was quite good when they first started. But the last time that I went there prior to the closure, the standard had already dropped.
There's a Malay stall at the upstairs foodcourt at Yew Tee MRT. Standard of his satay and other makan is quite alright but the brudder running the stall, very slow motion man!
