Located in the beautiful coastal town of Pasir Ris, Loyang Point serves a catchment of about 3,000 dwelling units in its immediate vicinity. The building is shaped like a giant ship which carries over 50 shops providing a total retail space of about 6,000 sq metres. This shopping centre is among the first standalone fully air-conditioned neighbourhood shopping malls to be introduced in Singapore.

Nope, loyang point and white sands are different and also at different locations.
Both places though have been around for quite some time.
Another difference is that white sands is privatised while LP is not.

Loyang Point is like the 888 Plaza in Woodlands... caters to the residents nearby with daily neccessities... it's not a big mall or shopping centre

Loyang Point surrounding by HDB flats whereas White Sands is near Pasir Ris MRT Station and Pasir Ris Bus Interchange. |

Loyang point is good .. Good variety for a neighbourhood mall.
For example, there is stationary shop, also have cold storage I think :) |

its been around for more than 10 years already
good place for people working or staying at loyang and changi
i rem got 2 foodcourts, macdonalds, singapore pools, 7 eleven, cold storage, sheng shiong and video ezy
also basic stuff like bookshop, barber, diy shop, clinics, confectionery, AXS machine and ATMs... convenience for residents or people working nearby |

I love the Sheng Siong at Loyang Point! and the lottery outlet is fast in the queue.. :D |
