thanks everyone for your warm welcome. i suppose after all that's been said, what's left is my maiden speech eh? haha.

the forum admins and i hope to work with all of you to make MyHomeTown a home on the web for you (oh, forget about facebook) to discuss everything under the sun. at this point i'd also like to remind everyone that the forums serve as a space for the convergence of different views and opinions, but at the end of the day everyone's beliefs are essentially different (and unique).

as an ex teacher used to say, "if you want to fight, go elsewhere and fight. don't fight in front of me." i'm kidding, of course, but surely you don't want to make things busy for your friendly admins :P

at this point, i realize i have an empty avatar and i'm sure many ppl would like to attach a face to these words, so this is how i look like

i might appear to be sleeping contentedly, but i'm actually very wide awake. remember, big brother's always watching :P (i'm kidding again).
