Super Trees & Flower Dome:
The super trees reminded me of the central funnels of the Shanghai Expo.
The super trees will be a beautiful sight when the plants have grown all out to cover the structures.

There are palm trees, olive trees, even oak trees, cacti of different varieties and the interesting bottle trees
called Baobabs.

Anyone knows the name of this plant? My overseas friends were very amused by it.
Even after 5 months it looks fresh and has small, single sprout from its 'flower?'.

An interesting and entertaining way to clean the exterior. There is a career in abseiling.

I can't imagine how they are going to clean the glass panels of the flower dome :O
There's something lacking... wonder if they will place the birds and the bees in it.. and maybe swans.. haha..
I like Lego.. would have collected it if not for lack of display space after constructing the set...
Simcity is a great game I have spent endless hours in the distant past zoning land plots... building roads and subways... I should have joined URA.. LOL!! |

Hi surfuz,
The Flower Dome glass panels will definitely be easier to clean than the Esplanade's roof!
You are right. The flower dome is like a bubble city, but for the plants only.
I am looking forward to visiting the Cloud Forest and the Skyway.
